“Why would I want to study for a Diploma in Remedial Massage?”

Completion of the Diploma in Remedial Massage can open many doors of opportunity in the health industry and enables membership with recognised massage associations such as the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT). This will enable you, as a practitioner to apply for medical provider registration which allows your clients to claim a rebate from their private health fund for the treatment received. Your diploma also provides you with a pathway towards University studies.

“What is it?”

The Diploma of Remedial Massage is a high level qualification in the massage industry, with the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice being the prerequisite.

The Diploma program offered covers the following areas:

Remedial Massage Fundamentals and Essentials
Remedial Massage Practice
• Assessment and Treatment
Remedial Massage Clinic
Clinic Business and Management
First Aid

“How long does the course run for?”

The full time course runs over 26 weeks. You must complete 16 contact days of academy attendance (weekends or midweek) 9am-6pm and 40 hours of clinic practice.

“What will I learn on the course?”

The course covers 5 modules which meet the nationally accredited standards by combining the learning into a shape that we believe makes it enjoyable and interesting to study. It has also been developed with a mindfulness of allowing as much guided “hands on” practice time as possible: The more you practice the better you get.

“How much is the Diploma?”

The cost of the course is dependent upon your chosen payment method. To pay the course in full upfront the total is $3600.

Paying the course fee by instalment plan you have two options:
a) to pay the course off with regular payments over 6 months the total is $4000.
b) to pay the course off with regular payments over 9 months the total is $4200.

For all courses we ask that you pay an initial deposit of $800 which is deducted from the total fees.
